Book 9 UiF Series Update

Captain’s Log – Stardate 71021.4

Ideas are continuing to flow in the adventures of Chase Athanatos and his friends. While writing, I’ve also been doing graphics for other authors and looking into marketing some of my designs on my website.

To give my readers a little perspective into what goes into designing a cover, originally for my first book I reached out to a UK artist to make me a cover as epic as the battle content of the book. But after thirteen weeks, he was nowhere near finished nor was his art matching the concept I had requested of him. At the end of February 2015, I decided to take things into my own hands (here applies the old adage of “if you want something done well, do it yourself”). So I started working almost full-time on the cover of the book. It took me probably 150 hours to complete the artwork, but the end result was exactly what I was looking for.
